On May 30, 2017, Asia-Pacific Group signed a comprehensive Memorandum of Understanding with the developers of Kangli City. It provides for the joint development and financing of a large new technology innovation park just east of Shenzhen, not far from the border with Hong Kong.

The meeting was hosted by Li Yanjun, president of the China International Trade Development Center, a unit of the Ministry of Commerce of China (MOFCOM).

Areas covered by the MOU include communication, energy, health, the environment, transportation, agriculture. The partners committed to equality and mutual benefit, complementary advantages, win-win development goals, international co-operation, balanced economic development, and intellectual integrity.

All projects will be designed with global impact in mind, to contribute to the “One Belt, One Road” initiative.

This is a rough English translation of the vision for the Kangli City development project. A polished English version will appear here shortly.

The partners begin working together.

Kangli City will incorporate six large office towers, with surrounding parks, recreation and shopping, in a very large natural site that is developed according to the most advanced green-energy and conservation principles. It will be host to up to 100 of the leading technology innovation companies in the Shenzhen/Hong Kong area.
