Music, dance and entertainment were the highlights at the announcement of the Culture and Tourism Exhibition for South Pacific Countries in Beijing, June 5, 2017. The location was a historic meeting site on the edge of the Forbidden City.
Representatives and ambassadors from Fiji, Tonga, Samoa, Vanuatu, and Micronesia were hosted by the Pacific Economic Co-operation Council (PECC), the Beijing People’s Friendship Association, and Beijing Foreign Language University.
Asia-Pacific Group representatives were invited as guests of PECC, attending as observers from the state of Hawaii. The delegation included Zhou Qing, Zhou Rong and his wife, and Michael North.
